The 2022 Chardonnay The Meadows Vineyard comes from the lowest section of the ranch, approximately five acres of dry-farmed vineyard land with more alluvial soils, A ripe yellow color, with aromas of ginger, honeyed citrus, baked pear, and oak spice, it's full-bodied, toasty, and ripe on the palate, with notes of almond through the finish. It closes with a ripe feel and has a good finish, with notes of toasty oak spice lasting on the back palate. It is a savory wine with a good deal of decadence to drink over the next 5-6 years. 392 cases were made.
