"Forward and voluptuous in the glass, the 2017 Le Petit Caillou offers notable intensity, breadth and volume. Dark blue/purplish berry fruit, leather, lavender and spice notes are nicely pushed forward. The tannins are a touch on the coarse side at present, which gives the Petit Caillou a slightly burly feel. Even so, Le Petit Caillou is an attractive second wine."
