This small port east of Marseille is sheltered by the Cap Canaille one of the highest cliffs in France has about 430 acreas of vineyards with most of the wine consumed locally. The transition of this estate from the Lefevre family hands to those of Jean-Louis Genovesi has resulted in a renaissance for this little jewel of a wine from Cassis on the French Riviera. A blend of Marsanne (50%), Clairette (35%) and Ugni (15%). this is a bold white wine full of spices. A classic with bouillabaisse or other full flavored fish.
